Palette Manager dialog box

This dialog box helps you manage color palettes in many ways, including choosing a palette or set of palettes, creating a new palette, and deleting, renaming, recalling, and merging palettes.

Palettes

Lets you select a palette name and set the active palette. Click the name to select; click the radio button to make a palette the active one.

New

Opens the Palette Name dialog box to add a new palette.

Rename

Opens the Palette Name dialog box to rename the selected custom palette.

Delete

Lets you delete the selected palette. It cannot be the active palette.

Merge

Adds the colors from the selected palette to the active palette.

Import

Lets you import palette files for use with Designer.

Export

Lets you export palette files for other Designer users other Micrografx programs.

Colors

Shows and lets you select colors in the active palette. Displays as a list if Show Color Names is selected in the Palette Options dialog box.

Name

Opens the Color Name dialog box if you select a color in a custom palette. This lets you add a name or rename a color.

Delete

Lets you delete the selected color in a custom palette.

Options

Opens the Palette Options dialog box

Color Mixer

Opens the Color Mixer dialog box. You can use the four color swatches on the four corners of the Mixing Palette to create colors for a custom palette.

Edit Color

Opens the Color Picker dialog box. The dialog box lets you choose a color from the full range of possible colors and add it to the color palette.

Convert Color

Opens a menu that lets you change the color model in which the selected color is stored.
